A Fairytale Encounter at the İzmir International Fair: “White Fox” Mesmerizes Audiences

The İzmir International Fair is also hosting an international performance this year. The French performance group “Les Légendaires” presented a spectacular visual show across the fairgrounds with giant illuminated puppets, dancers and acrobats. The show’s approximately 4.5-meter-tall “White Fox” character attracted great attention from visitors.

Held for the 95th time this year, the İzmir International Fair (İEF) offers visitors a wide range of experiences not only through its exhibitions and events, but also through performances by artistic groups from around the world. As part of this program, the French performance group “Les Légendaires (The Legendary)” delighted audiences in İzmir with a show combining light, dance, acrobatics and giant puppets.

At the heart of the performance, which takes audiences on an extraordinary journey between fantasy and reality, is the White Fox, a mythological hero. Inspired by ancient mythological tales, the character’s mysterious story unfolds through the choreography of dancers accompanied by giant illuminated puppets.

A Fairytale World Comes to the Fair’s Streets

Standing approximately 4.5 meters tall, the White Fox drew intense interest from visitors as it made its way through the fairgrounds. Visitors quickly reached for their phones to capture photos and videos of the giant puppet, while the dancers’ interactive engagement with the audience added even more color and excitement to the performance.

The group, which traveled to Türkiye specifically for the İzmir International Fair, will continue its performances for three days. The 16-member performance team includes a lead dancer, various fox characters and other dancers.

The performance brings a distinctive new dimension to the colorful and international atmosphere of the İzmir International Fair.
