Municipality Street’s Health Stations Draw Strong Interest

At Municipality Street, set up as part of the İzmir International Fair (IEF), stands showcasing the healthcare services provided by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality are drawing strong interest from visitors. Visitors stopping by the stands of Eşrefpaşa Hospital, the Department of Health Affairs, and the Department of Veterinary Services had the opportunity to learn about the services offered and benefit from basic health checks.

At Municipality Street, established as part of the 95th İzmir International Fair, İzmir Metropolitan Municipality introduces its services and initiatives across a wide range of fields to the public. Among the most popular stops on Municipality Street are the stands dedicated to healthcare services. At the stands of Eşrefpaşa Hospital, the Department of Health Affairs, and the Department of Veterinary Services, visitors received information about the services provided by each unit. Blood pressure, height, and weight measurements were also offered, while pet food was given as a gift for visitors’ animal companions.

“We Were Very Pleased”

Yücel Gürcan, who visited the fair with his 80-year-old mother, Yaşam Gürcan, said, “We visited almost every stand on Municipality Street. We were warmly welcomed at each one and received information about the services. We also visited the health stands, where my mother had her blood pressure checked. We also learned about Home Care services. We were very pleased. Thank you.”

“I Received Pet Food as a Gift for My Animal Companion”

Fair visitor Aysun Tanyalçın said, “Every year, I come to Municipality Street and benefit from the services offered here. At the health stand, we had our blood pressure, height, and weight measured. The staff also gave us gifts. Finally, I received pet food as a gift for my animal companion.”

Mustafa Akdere said, “At the health stands, I had my height, weight, and blood pressure measured. I recently underwent an angiography procedure and had a stent implanted. I think it is great to have stands dedicated to health services at the fair.”
