Evenings filled with art and entertainment continue at Kültürpark. On its sixth day, the 95th İzmir International Fair welcomed İzmir residents with a diverse program ranging from music to comedy. Popular singer Gülşen took the stage as part of the Fair Lawn Concerts, while Doğan Akdoğan and Rüştü Onur Atilla met audiences at the Atatürk Open-Air Theatre with their “Abur Cubur Show.”
As part of the Fair Lawn Concerts, one of the traditional events of the fair, Gülşen, one of the leading performers of Turkish pop music, took the stage. With her popular songs and energetic stage performance, Gülşen gave İzmir audiences an unforgettable night. Music lovers who filled the concert area sang along with the artist’s songs in unison.
“Thank Goodness for İzmir”
Expressing her love for İzmir and its people, Gülşen said, “I’m in my favorite place, with such a beautiful sight before me. I feel very lucky. Even though it is one day late, I also feel the pride and happiness of celebrating September 9 together with you. I love you all very much. I’m so glad you’re here. Thank goodness for İzmir.”
The artist then performed the İzmir March together with tens of thousands of people filling the venue.
A Night Full of Laughter with “Abur Cubur Show”
Kültürpark Atatürk Open-Air Theatre hosted a night filled with laughter. “Abur Cubur Show,” performed by Doğan Akdoğan and Rüştü Onur Atilla, offered the audience an interactive and entertaining evening. Combining conversation, comedy, music, and improvisation, Akdoğan and Atilla engaged the audience throughout the show and humorously explored a wide range of topics, from everyday life and relationships to popular culture.
The Excitement Continues at the Fair
The Fair Lawn Concerts and events at the Atatürk Open-Air Theatre will continue in the coming days at the İzmir International Fair. Teoman will take the stage at the Fair Lawn Concerts on September 11, followed by Semicenk on September 12.
At the Atatürk Open-Air Theatre, Atakan Çelik and Safa Sarı will meet audiences on September 11 with “Sonkiüçdört,” a performance combining music, comedy, and dynamic stage energy. The program will conclude on September 12 with “İki Kişilik Oyun,” starring Binnur Kaya and Mert Fırat.
Hosted by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality and organized by İZFAŞ, the 95th İzmir International Fair will continue to welcome visitors at Kültürpark through September 13 under the slogan “The Fair at the Heart of the City.”
